We offer help in dealing with the problems you face as a single parent, whether you have never married or you have suffered the trauma of separation, divorce or widowhood. We offer companionship when you feel you must face these problems alone. We offer friendship, support, and social activities for yourself and your children. We hope you will consider joining with us for our mutual benefit and for the well-being of our children.
WHAT IS PARENTS WITHOUT PARTNERS?
Parents Without Partners, Inc. (PWP) is a
non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of single parents and their children. It
provides education, support, and social activities, and it is the largest international,
mutual self-help organization of its kind.
PWP provides single
parents and their children with an opportunity for enhancing personal growth,
self-confidence, and sensitivity towards others by offering an environment for support,
friendship, and the exchange of parenting techniques.
Members may be
divorced, separated, widowed, or never-married parents. Custody of children is not a
factor for membership eligibility. Our members come from all walks of life and represent a
kaleidoscope of occupations, interests, and educational backgrounds.
